Historic - Abandoned Cabin (Haunted)

The history of this cabin dates all the way back to the 40's. Spinsters, hidden money and a lonely old man are all part of the folklore. Sadly this cabin has been recently torn down and the site cleared for a road.





Location: Near the Western tip of Nanoose Bay

Historic - Hole In The Wall

Remnants of an old pipeline that once fed Port Alberni with water. The hole is where the pipeline was punched through the rock formation and joined up to the reservoir in behind.

Historic - Morden Mine near Nanaimo

The most complete above ground remains of a historic coal mine on Vancouver Island. Nanaimo and areas around the city have a long history of coal mining.







Location: South Nanaimo Region, near Cassidy.

Historic - Horn Lake Power

Isolated power house near Horne Lake. I was impressed with the roar.
