Natural - Horn Lake Caves

Three caves to explore, two open all the time. These shots are from the lower cave. Bring lots of light and expect to get dirty. Not for the claustrophobic.

Natural - Pipers Lagoon & Shack Island

This park is located near Nanaimo. Some of the shacks are still privatly owned and used for recreational purposes.

The Juan De Fuca Trail stretches for miles along the Southern West Coast of Vancouver Island.

Natural - Qualicum Falls

We get a lot of rain on the Island and in the spring we are prone to flooding as a result. These pictures are of Little Qualicum Falls Park during the peak of our spring run-off.

Natural - Brickyard Park

One of my favorite places to relax. A small cove that makes you feel like you are miles from anywhere. At one time there was a brick factory here. All that remains now is some concrete in places and an interesting tree.
